On April 17th, the 97th National Auto Parts Fair (referred to as the National Auto Parts Fair), jointly hosted by the China Machinery Industry Federation, China Machinery International Cooperation Co., Ltd. (referred to as China Machinery International), and China Automotive Industry Parts Sales Co., Ltd., was grandly opened at the Shijiazhuang International Convention and Exhibition Center.

Relying on the coordinated development strategy of Beijing Tianjin Hebei and further expanding into the North China and even global markets, the National Auto Parts Association has once again settled in Shijiazhuang after 6 years, receiving strong support from auto parts industry professionals across the country. This year’s National Auto Parts Fair has opened five exhibition halls at the Shijiazhuang International Convention and Exhibition Center, with an exhibition area of up to 50000 square meters and over 1500 participating companies, with more than 2000 booths. According to the organizing committee’s statistics, the visitor flow on the first day of the exhibition exceeded 20000, an increase of 10% compared to the previous edition, attracting hundreds of overseas professional buyers to visit, negotiate and exchange ideas.
Global procurement docking, exploring new opportunities in the international auto parts market
In order to create a high-quality platform for global cooperation in the automotive parts industry, the organizing committee has carefully invited nearly a hundred enterprises from Asia, Europe, Africa, South America, North America and other regions to come and negotiate with purchase orders, and specially planned two “Overseas Purchasing Negotiation Conferences”.
Currently, the international auto parts market is undergoing three major changes: new energy transformation, supply chain reshaping, and localized service upgrading. Different overseas markets have varying demands: Southeast Asian markets have a strong demand for micro electric vehicle accessories, such as battery packs, low-speed motors, etc. Thai and Indonesian companies also need to adapt high-temperature resistant materials suitable for tropical climates; Vietnamese and Filipino buyers prefer cost-effective products such as wipers and brake pads, and have high requirements for delivery timeliness; The Middle East and African markets require components that are resistant to sand and high temperatures, such as the Saudi procurement team’s request to add a sand proof filter layer to the air filter.
The export of second-hand cars has become an “invisible gold mine” for aftermarket services. The export volume of second-hand cars in China has soared from 23000 in 2020 to 280000 in 2024, effectively driving the extension and expansion of the aftermarket service chain. In the African market, 70% of used cars are old Japanese models, which has led to a market demand for vulnerable parts such as spark plugs and timing belts; The Russian market, on the other hand, shows a high preference for Chinese used new energy vehicles.
The organizing committee of the National Auto Parts Fair has always adhered to the purpose of providing high-quality value-added services for exhibitors, and has won widespread praise from exhibitors and buyers. The 98th National Auto Parts Fair has been scheduled to be held in Jinan from October 18th to 20th, 2025. Let us look forward to this industry event injecting new vitality into the auto parts industry once again.
